Skills re-cap pt 2

Im my vampire horror movie I will use a variety of camera skills to make sure my vampire horror movie looks as good as it can. I will firstly use shot reverse shot by taking an over the shoulder shot of the victim who has been bitten by the vampire then quickly transitioning to a shot of the vampire chasing the bleeding victim. Then cutting the clip and going back to the victims point of you. This will add atmosphere to the scene as i is constantly changing from 2 different angles in a short space of time.

I will also position the tripod at different angles which will create fear in m horror movie as if i used a high angle with the tripod looking down at the vampires victim it will make the victim look vulnerable and will therefor create fear.

On the lines of short length I will mainly use a short shot length ranging from 2-10 secs for every shot length this will be good as it will constantly as suspense to the movie as the shots constantly change. I will mostly stick to a short shot type because it allows me to capture the actors expressions which will create fear. Also allows me to capture a lot more detail in term of the victim bleeding from his neck.

I will probably use a lot of high shot angles in m horror movie because i want to create the impression of the vampire being tall and scary. I will lastly use a dark colours and lighting in my movie production which is why I am filming my vampire film on the street at night, because its at night it will create darkness to ad atmosphere to the film but the street lights will create some light so you will be able to see the characters faces visibly.
