Media Vampire movie first shoot

I believe my first media shoot went well,  I captured some exciting realistic footage which will add a lot of tension for the build up to my final horror once I have re-shot. I made sure in my first shoot that I captured the image of the victim of the vampire is badly hurt with a bite on his neck, I believe I managed to capture the idea he was bleeding from his neck where he had been bitten, to make the blood look realistic on the victim I used a mixture of ketchup and dark red paint.

The camera shots I used were interesting as well and greatly showed the idea that something was following the victim in the movie, I used a variety of close ups of the face as well as mid-shots, long-shots and over the shoulder shots. The over the shoulder shot was very useful in this shoot because I knew i would be exciting to have a shot of the victim going down on one knee as he stumbles tot the ground because of his neck injury, then as the victim slowly gets up you see over the top of his shoulder a man standing there in the darkness right in front of him.

I also increased the brightness mode on the Camera when I was filming my horror movie because as I was filming at night time I released I would have to increase the brightness so that I could capture Characters expressions which  I couldn't capture because it was so dark without the brightness being increased on the camera.

There are a lot of things I do need to improve about my horror movie which will greatly increase the quality of the film. Firstly I will using iMovie HD cut the movie down and take out some of the scenes where the victim is walking and add in my re-shoot more action where the vampire actually bites the victim for a second time.  From my audience feedback who viewed the first showing of the movie said I should use some sort of mise en scene as well as to ad more action as the victim walking and falling on the ground is too repetitive.
